So, back in may my senior project went over well enough to get me an 'A' grade for the class, doing 55 illustrations for 120 unique cards, it was quite a project. My brother and I decided to take it further, so we whipped up a kickstarter. And just recently that kickstarter FUNDED!

I'm so chagrined I didn't post here earlier about the project, but at least I can tell y'all 'I did it!' because this is my first kickstarter, and it's already 110% funded

So I'm currently working on a massive boardgame project, it's likely to become my senior project. I'm also gradually scaling this account into being more professional.

Current Projects

Hm, well I didn't get in to TBOS, but that's not really surprising. I didn't get around to polishing my audition because of the 10,000 things I'm doing with my time. Well, not really that many, but it sometimes seems that way, so I suppose I'll share some of what I'm doing:
1) Plus5Cinema
I'm beginning to work on some short film projects with several friends of mine in a 'weekend professional,' sort of way. Check out our stuff at plus5cinema.wordpress.com the podcasts on that blog will probably explain it better than I could.
2) Richard Solomon - Break Through/portfolio polishing
Aside from Plus 5 eating my time, I've been polishing my portfolio because respectively a) it's a good idea and b) there's a contest being offered by an artist's rep. in NY that I'd like to enter (the deadline is the 30th of june, so after that you can expect to see my entries up in my gallery)
3) Paygr
Recently discovered this site called Paygr, it's pretty cool as far as an interface for services goes, and I'm working on cultivating it into something worthwhile to me, on that note, (30$) www.paygr.com/GreatGrendel/119… and (15$) www.paygr.com/GreatGrendel/113… are the deals I'm currently offering there, that's probably going to be my preferred method for commisions for a while.
Finally some personal stuff:
4) Life and sundry
My computer is old, my photoshop is older, I have a job now, but it's not earning as much as I'd like (though the work isn't hard and it's pretty laid back. My roommate just moved out, so my financial burden is a bit lighter, but reorganization of my apartment is a bit crazy. Finally I'm looking to be going in on a house with someone at the end of the summer, so there's a certain amount of keeping out eyes on the market that's going on as well.
5) Game and creative fostering
I'm also running a World of Darkness RPG with some friends of mine on Wed evenings to help me unwind in general, and keep creative juices flowing when otherwise they might not.
That's pretty much what I'm up to, if you're interested in commissions then check out my Paygr, aside from that I hope everyone's summer is going smashingly, and check out the podcast at the Plus5cinema blog.

TBOS AUDITION

My TBOS audition will be up shortly, it's in distressingly poor quality because about 3 days ago my files were corrupted by a program error in photoshop. On a related note if anyone wants to donate to me a more recent copy of photoshop than 7.0 it would likely not be remiss.
